P36 locomotive

The locomotive P36 was a Soviet mainline passenger steam locomotive. Between 1950 and 1956, 251 locomotives were built. The locomotives were nicknamed "General" because of the red stripe down the side like on general pants. The P36 was the last mainline steam locomotive of that type built in USSR. Nowadays there are several trains saved in the Russian Railway Museums, for ex. in St. Petersburg.
